I have always been a dog person. More than that- I’ve always loved big dogs- Big, loveable galumphs who I feel safe with when alone. I had sworn off of little yappy dogs until my experience one summer after high school while working at a pet boarding facility. I opened the door of one of the dog carriers that had just arrived, and out walked the tiniest dachshund with the sweetest face I had ever seen. Its tail wagging uncontrollably, it lazily walked right into my lap and collapsed. We were pals instantly. Since then my heart turns warm every time I see a dachshund walking in the street or playing with its owner.

I have a German Sheppard at my place. She is a lovely animal and a very looking too with her dark brown fur color. She is very friendly and I take care of her as my own child.
