Lively Oh So

I’m having a hard time answering this question because I’ve seen and heard so many funny things over the last 23 years of my life.  I’m sure when I was a baby, a funny face made me laugh hysterically.  When I got into high school and began drinking a partying, it was a sight at some of the things I witnessed that made me almost pee in my pants because someone was so drunk they didn’t know what they were doing.  From falling on their face to running into things, there was never a not funny moment.  The funniest things I’ve ever seen, however, would have to be when my son was running around the house with his shirt on his head with his arms through the sleeves.  He looked like the hunchback of Notre Dame.  When he realized I was laughing at him he began to play it up running and screaming and acting goofy.  I laughed so hard, I literally wet myself.

As a mother of a 3-year-old boy, I’m sure you can imagine that I’m never, not busy.  I’m also an active member of my church and involved in helping the youth group at my church, as well.  On Sundays and Wednesdays, I can always be found at my church.  Sunday afternoon is a time that we go out and eat with family and church family.  I work in the evenings and on weekends so when I’m not at church I’m usually working or cleaning house.  This is my week to week schedule so I can tell you always what I’m going to be doing unless something comes up or I have to have a doctor appointment of some kind.

Well considering that I don’t own my own home, the most expensive thing I have ever bought is a mattress.  I never had to buy a mattress until after my son was born and I just couldn’t handle sleeping on a feather mattress anymore.  Not to mention, I don’t think I ever had a new mattress the entire time of growing up.  It was always “hand-me-down” mattresses for me and my brother.  I bought my pillow top mattress at a furniture store that was soon to go out of business.  Like most people I bought my mattress on sale for around $500 for a queen size.  It was well worth the money because not only is it still holding up after 3 years, I got to upgrade from a full size to a queen size bed.  I wouldn’t trade my mattress for anything.  I like mine so well that when my son began sleeping in a “big boy” bed, I bought him a pillow top as well and he is finally sleeping throughout the night, most nights.
