Lively Oh So

Why is it that we feel a certain way at a certain time? Why does music or emotions illicit certain emotions high feeling emotions or feelings of despair. I can only think to the Wisdom of men who say that the world in itself full of emotions and we are only vessels for its transfer. I can remember Sunday mornings filled with laughter just by hearing an oldies but goody or heat break just from that lonely love song. The science of man has yet to explain why but the feelings we all share and have inside of us already know.

The 3 people I would like to have lunch with would be Mahatma Ghandi, Ray Charles and Jesus Christ. I would like to ask Ghandi how is it he was able to overcome anger and resentment caused by revenge. I would ask Ray Charles how is it he was able to tap into music so deeply that he could speak to millions of emotions through song. And I would finally ask Jesus how he was able to overcome the weakness of the human mind and was able to stick to his teachings and morals amidst those who had the backing to appear right and also the power to make him look wrong.

It takes a lot for a food lover to actually say what his favorite food  and drink is but only a small memory to confirm. Oxtail is definitely my favorite food based on my memory of a Hot summers day in new  York when I walked to the local Golden Crust to purchase it and when I started to eat even though I was sweating through my ears I just could not stop. As for Strawberry Sunshine it takes me back to Ricks Café and jumping from a cliff into pristine blue waters surrounded by excitement and beauty that is Negril Jamaica.

I would describe my family as an extended dis-jointed unit consisting of all different ethnicities a world views. My Father had a lot of children and these children have made the Globe their home with some of us as dispersed as Japan. The thing which keeps my family together is the fact that we are all connected through a single man… my Father. We are not close on birthdays and other occasions but when we do come together you can definitely feel family energy with all the drama and emotions that accompany it. Safe to say we are a distant close family of the new age.
