Collars are one of the most important, and sometimes controversial, pieces of canine apparel. Here are a few things to keep in mind when you’re looking for a dog collar. Is your focus fashion or function? Do you and your dog prefer leather, plastic or cloth?  Which is safer – buckle, quick-release, breakaway, lighted, reflective, martingale, padded or studded collars? When choosing a reflective dog collar for training it is best to keep an open mind. Dog trainers tend to be very opinionated people and some have fanatical ideas about which dog collar is always right (or always wrong) to use.  The most important thing is to find a collar that works for you and your dog. Be sure the collar fits your dog properly.  Your dog can slip out of a dog collar that is too loose or it can tangle and choke him.  A dog collar that is too tight is uncomfortable and can cause sores from chafing.  It is especially important to properly fit training collars.

My favorite season of all time is the winter. I love the winter because I grew up in Michigan and there is always a lot of snow. It is my favorite mostly because I like to go snowboarding a lot, and when there is a lot of snow I will always try and get some of my friends to go on a day trip to a mountain. Sometimes the winter can be rough when you are driving a car, but it is still always an adventure. I also have a Siberian husky, and we trained him to pull us on a sled. So when the winter time comes he knows he gets to go out and have some fun.

Dog pajamas for small dogs keep a short haired pet very warm at night. Most small dog breeds have trouble staying warm in cold weather, so dressing them in attire like pajamas is not only very cute but it becomes necessary. Most dog pajamas are designed to fit small dogs ranging in weight from 4-20 pounds. It is best to find dog pajamas that do not have buttons or snaps to reduce the possibility of choking if the dog were to nibble at the closure. Some pajamas even come with slippers. How cute would your little girl be in pink with bunny slippers? Don’t get discouraged if your dog is a little tough guy. Doggy pajamas come in styles for males, too. Many can be found in plaid, solid colors and even skull and cross bones. ARRGH, mates!

Today I woke up at around 7a.m. and I started to get ready for the day. I had to be to class by 8a.m. so jumped in the shower quick and went and got some breakfast.  After breakfast, I went straight to class, and in class the professor was talking about natural selection, and how your genes get mixed up through generations after generations. After class, I went back to my room to see my roommate still sleeping when he still had to go to class. I woke him up and he started freaking out, and he got up really quick and left. My day has started off very early but I will probably go take a nap so I can stay up late studying for my next day’s classes.
